A pirate came to school ....

On Wednesday a pirate came to school. Room 4 were sitting in class reading the shared book when suddenly an "Ohh arhh!" was heard coming from the quad.
Caprice came back into class and said "There's a pirate out there."
"A pirate?" said Mrs Diack, getting up quickly to look out the door. "What is he doing here? Well come on, lets go find out!"
Room 4 rushed outside and sure enough a pirate with a treasure chest was standing in our quad. He was looking for a safe place to bury his treas...mother-in-law. We invited him into Room 1 and he showed us all the interesting pirate things inside his chest.
He even mentioned some lost treasure at Rabbit Island. We will have to look around carefully on our trip to Rabbit Island this Friday. You never know what you may find!
