Jacob gave a fantastic report all about chooks and caring for them. |
Here are some comments from Room 4 about what they saw:
On Friday the 29th November Lester visited Lower Moutere School to show us some things that people used at least 150 years ago. My favourite was the telephone.
Jaimee.
I think that the flour maker was the coolest, how it grinded the corn off and made it into flour.
Corey.
I liked the juice maker because it was so simple. All you do is put fruit in and mash it and there you go, you have juice.
Isa.
Lester made rope out of the resource flax and made a skipping rope, and brought a small metal bath that saves a lot of water.
Lucas.
I really liked the job blacksmith and he showed us some metal rods. One was shaped as a cobra stick, it was really cool.
Jacob.
Listening to Lester is fun! Lester told us about flax. He got some flax and wound it into a flax rope. Lester said that it would hold a ship.
Bronte.
