Camp

Wow!  What an amazing time we had at Teapot Valley.

Here is a glimpse into our time away through a collection of videos and pictures.

Thank you again to all our marvelous parents - Jill, Raquel, Helen, Steve, Bronwyn and Carlisa. We couldn't have done it without you.  Thankyou so much!


DAY ONE

Well we arrived all excited to Teapot Valley, there was only one problem it was pouring with rain!

But luckily we still were able to have fun....

That night after a yummy tea of burgers and donuts, we had a movie night.

Then we went out and had to race against each other to find the Possums and the secret code, that was fun!

Then back to our cabins to get some sleep for our big day tomorrow.



DAY TWO

SUNSHINE!!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

After filling our tummies up with a good breakfast we got into our first rotation of activities.

Today we got to complete the maze ....

In between we had yummy treats for morning tea, had macroni cheese for lunch (which some of us had never had before) and more yummy treats for afternoon tea.


Then we got to go on the water-slide.  It took us awhile to get our technique right so we could go down fast, but we got there in the end.

After another delicious meal, this time of nachoes and jelly and icecream we went out for a treasurehunt - which Mrs Bowen and her daughter Charlotte joined in on.  This got us running all over the camp!

Then we had some time reflecting on our day and waiting for it to get dark enough for a game of...

SPOTLIGHT

Mrs M was on the spotlight and in the first round caught us all! which she was pretty chuffed about!  So we had to have another round to see if we could beat her.  One group got to what they thought was the safe zone, but it wasn't quite!  But they were definitely the closest.

DAY THREE

We don't want to leave!!!

We had to do a big pack up after our breakfast so we could enjoy the rest of our day.  

We got to do the maze again - with groups being timed to see who could go through it the quickest.  Even the quickest going through backwards.  We had a full on game of hockey and after a yummy lunch of pizza we got to all go on the flying fox again!  Even all the parents and teachers went.

We then said a big thankyou to the parents and sung them a waiata.

Then sadly we hopped in our cars and headed back to school.
