Beep, beep went my
alarm clock early because we had to walk to school. All of us met at Richards
Reserve on Wildmans Road. At the playground the teachers said get into your
class groups and find your buddies. We called the roll and started to walk down
the road in our class groups. A heap of cars passed and tooted. It was really,
really, really fun!!!

Yawn! I have to walk
to school today, I said to myself. Then I had breakfast and walked to my bus
stop. Along came the bus. When we got off I played at Richards Reserve. I
played with Jake on the swing. I let go and did a forward flip. It was fun.
When we walked to school my buddy was Liam. On the way there were two bridges
and one electric fence. Mr Fitz honked his horn at us.

Boom! Boom! Went the
feet stomping on the ground. Beep! Beep! Went Mr Fitz driving past. We went
from Richards Reserve to Main Road Lower Moutere. Yay, we arrived at school and
went inside in the warm.
