Compound Words

A compound word is formed when two different words are joined together to make new word.

Eg: butter + fly = butterfly
cup + cake = cupcake

Check out the compound game (Walk the Plank) under literacy games to the left.

Write a comment with the two words that you would put together to make a compound word.
