Tasman Bay Christian School and Lower Moutere School Powhiri on Tuesday! It was rainy and wet and miserable weather but we managed to pull it off anyway!

We also went to WHENUA ITI to enjoy our last full week of school. We participated in team building activities and challenges that really got our heart racing! Well done, those of you who conquered your fears!

Thank you to all the parents that helped out on the day! We could not have done it without you!

My Best Friend, Thomas

Thomas is my best friend. We went to Kindy together and we live next door to each other. He has brown hair and light rosy pink cheeks. His eyes are goldie- brown. His lips are pink and his teeth are white with a hint of light yellow. His wears black shorts and a red and black t-shirt.

Thomas’ voice sounds like a mouse with a hint of lowness. When he walks his steps are as loud as an elephant. But when he is sad he gets angry.

Thomas is often glued to the screen of either his computer or the T.V. He is really naughty with his puppy because he teases her. Then she nips and he gets told off. He is a dare devil when he jumps off the shed roof onto the trampoline. He also teases me too. He is naughty! He loves to watch Scooby-Doo and Back to the Future with me. We laugh a lot. Thomas is not a good loser. He yells at me and says I cheated but I didn’t.

Other people see Thomas as cool. They also see him as a bit of a weirdo. But he is also adventurous! He is an amazing rugby player and some people would say he is a bit lazy. I don’t think that, to be honest. I think he is a bit silly, though, when he plays on his computer.

Tyson

Tyson is my brother. He has pitch black hair. It is smooth and straight. His eyes are as black as the night sky. He gets his tanned skin from being half Maori. He is about 1. 30m tall and sort of muscly.

My brother is addicted to the game “Call of Duty – Black Ops”. He gets grumpy if we talk. He shuts the door. He wears headphones like a pilot with them on. His thumbs move like lightening as he plays online over the world.

When my brother, Tyson, gets in the door he is all sweet because he’s been working hard. That is what my mum says. He’s cheeky to my mum and me. Freaky. My brother is sometimes playful and quiet.

My Mum, Alison

Her eyes are as blue as dolphins. Her smile is as sparkly as glitter. Her hair is messy as a bush. My mum has jeans as blue as the sea.

My mum sounds like the sea washing up on a hot summer’s day. She stomps around like someone roaring on a motorbike. When she walks to a party her heals click and clock. When she walks her hips go from side to side. But they are not the worst sounds. When she tells me off she is as loud as a gun.

My mum is playful when she wants to play a game of ‘Rummykub’. When my mum is in the car and we are talking she is a clown because she calls things names. My mum is cheeky when she buys chocolate bars.

Other people see my mum as being nice because she says things like ‘are you ok?’ I think she is sweet because she is nice as well. I think my mum is cool because she is a good mum.

My Mum, Cherie

My mum, Cherie, has short, layered, multicoloured hair. Her eye brows are light brown and her eyes are the colour of the ocean on a beautiful, sunny day. Her cheeks are rosy pink, her nose is like the shape of a carrot and her lips are tinted pink. Her teeth are a yellowy-brown. My mum is round like a dessert bowl. You wouldn’t believe it…my mum’s clothes are crazy like a clown! She is really short so she wears boots that have heels around about 3 inches high. Her skin is an olive colour and has a few wrinkles.

When my mum snores I dream that I’m in an earthquake. As she walks down the corridor I can hear her jeans rubbing together. When she dawdles around the kitchen I can hear her boots clicking on the floor boards. Her voice is gentle but not when she’s angry. She’ll sternly yell and scream. When she farts she thinks it’s funny but its not! It’s disgusting!

She likes the house to be spotless so she always cleans. She thinks that she always has to knit because she is a grandma. She hates it when I play on my Ripstick and run around the house.

My mum is beautiful because of how unique she is. She flies around the house cleaning like an angel. She is fully confident in herself and her children. My mum is cares for anyone and everyone. I admire her as my mum.

My Dad, Red

My Dad, Red, has light brown tanned skin. He has brown curly-like hair. His eyes are emerald green. He has white teeth as shiny as a star. He has a kind, lovely smile… as kind as a butterfly.

My dad makes all sorts of noises. I’ll tell you the worst thing…when he snores he makes the Christchurch earthquakes happen and he makes the ice crack down at the bottom of the world which is why happy feet turned up in Wellington. He has a booming voice when I slam the bathroom door.

My dad is very clever when he is at work because he is one of the bosses. He is funny nearly like a clown and he is quite silly most times. My dad has a bit of a temper sometimes but not much though. He basically teases anyone… he gets pay back.

Dad is hard working like an ant is an army. Sometimes he is so funny. Most of the time, though, it makes us feel very happy…happier than a clown!

My Sister, Kiva

My little sister, Kiva, is a rat bag. She has hair like golden pearls. Kiva is the only person with ocean blue eyes in our family. Her smile is as curved as a spring. It reaches up to her eyes, mind you, she is beautiful. Her height is up to my neck.

When it is bed time my sister snores like a very gusty day and the noise chatters. Her eyes brighten up when she sees treats. She gets mad-happy when we go and have days on the beach and have so much play time.

Kiva imagines she is a real cook in the sandpit. She will talk to invisible people in front of her. She needs to calm down in the sandpit because sometimes she will throw sand at me. She’ll pretend that she is cooking on Master Chef. It is so horrible when she doesn’t let me in her game but she will use very creative ingredients.

Kiva’s sometimes quiet but a lot of the time she is loud. She is so irritating and babyish. She is sneaky when she’s getting attention and she likes being loved. She is confident at really cool times. She is never afraid to do anything. Kiva is a very brave girl. She is unique to everyone because she has a cosy and playful smile. She’ll never lose her awesome and kind hugs.

We are starting a new unit about KEEPING OURSELVES SAFE with Gerry Tonkin coming in to talk to us! How exciting!

We also have professional coaches coming in in take us, not only for Tennis (again) but Cricket too!

This week we were given some words on a piece of paper. In pairs we were asked to put them into an interesting stories!!

Here are some examples of our writing!!

Izzy and Ella
Impatiently, I tell my mum I want a bath. I turn the silver tap on running the water. I fall asleep into the bath. I'm in the big, open deep, beach. I try to put my goggles on. Finally they're on but I saw a tiger shark in the water. I say to myself "Swim for your life!"
My lungs were getting tired. I see a rock ahead. But the shark got me. Blood was everywhere. I was going to the bottom but I smacked the shark on the nose. I see the surface. I make a decision - Suffocate or jiggle.
I count while swimming-trying to see how many rocks there were... 5,6,7,8,9...
I woke up. Phew! It was just a dream.

Lewis and Myah
I wore my goggles under the deep water. I saw the rocks. My lungs were pumping. I came up to the surface. I was counting on my mum to pick me up. My nose was pouring with blood. Then I went and had a swim at the beach baths. Iwas going to jump in the beach bath but I didnt. I made a good decision. I jumped to the bottom of the beach bath. I was impatient to get my ice-cream.

Camryn and Ethan
I as swimming to the bottom of the surface in the deep, blue sea. My lungs were desperate to get air. The water went all the way through my swimming goggles. I swam all the way to the rocks. He ran all the way to the beach. I had a decision with my mum if we could get an ice-cream. She said yes. I was impatiently waiting. I was counting till I got one. I finally had a bath when blood came swarming out of my knee.

Sam and Taylor
I get my goggles on and swim into the deep water. When I smash into a rock blood bursts out of the bottom of my neck so do my lungs. I swim to the beach impatiently. I am counting to 100 very slowly. But it was just a dream. Then I notest that I was in the bath with my brother. He was on the surface of the bath. I made a decision that I needed to get out of the bath.

Charlie and Linkon
As we drove to the beach I started counting to 100. I got really impatient. When we got there I put on my goggles and ran out to the deep water. I cut myself on a rock. Blood came out. I started to sink to the bottom of of the water. I started to swim to the surface. My lungs filled with no air. Dad made a decision. He said we should go home and wash off the sand in the bath.

Oriwa and Georgia
One dripping wet day my family and I drove to the pool. As we splashed our way into the water for a swim I rushed to the deep. I put my goggles on. My hand started to pour out with blood. I rushed to the side of the pool and I got a rock in the bottom of my foot. As we drove home from a rough day I asked my mum if I could go have a bath when we got home.

Bayley and Jack
He tiptoed to the beach and got a blood nose and went on an All Blacks shoulder. He had a swim in the deep water. He pulled down his fat pants and everybody saw his bottom and his goggles fell off his face. He floated to the surface and went home and had a bath.

Desiree and Mikayla
As my lungs search for oxygen I choked on some salty water. 'Oh no! I'm in the middle of the ocean'. Floating into the deep, dark sea trying to swim to the surface but I'm getting exhausted. As I have to make a decision whether I keep struggling on I wait until I get washed back to the sparkling beach. My goggles are getting fogged up. As I breathe through my nose it starts to bleed. Blood goes everywhere. It feels like I'm drowning in my bath. As I'm getting impatient I start counting until I wash back to the shore. I'm floating down to the bottom of the sea. I see a rock and I saw a diver. He helped me back ashore.

Nicole and Ebon
The lungs of the shark are broken off the side of his throat. Gulp. As we go under the bottom of the water counting 1,2,3. Floating to the surface... Boom! Knocked out hit a rock. Going down. Goggles floating off my head. What's going to happen now?

We are writing some really neat stories about Haunted Houses using strong verbs...

Linkon
Hanging people off the roof. Zombies sucking the blood. Bats attacking human beings! Monsters with bomby-knockers and smashing coffins to bits. Destroying windows, doors, anything. Vampires, ghosts and teeth marks all over the floor. There was a glowing light and no-one was in there. Nothing in there. Freaky. The Haunted House.

Ella
Myah, Camryn, Renee, Izzy, Georgia and I tiptoed inside the black, dark, spooky house. Spiders crawling around. Screaming people. Big spiders. Myah, Camryn, Renee, Izzy, Georgia and I went on an elevator. We saw a vampire. He had sharp teeth like a shark. His hair was smooth like fluff. and he had a big, black cape. The vampire had a wardrobe filled with dead people. "Oh no!"

Jack M.
Thundering past the trail of sharp teeth comes the screaming Jack. "Oh no! There's one hundred doors now. What will I do? " Jack said, puzzled. Suddenly, a glowing killer demon jumped in front of Jack. He said "Welcome to Terror Tower". If you don't make it out in time you will DIE!"
You only have one hour to get out o the rotting Terror Tower. Good luck... or maybe... goodbye...whoever you are!"
As the demon left he dropped a piece of paper saying how to get out of Terror Tower. It had mysterious clues like 'it is the number of the age of this house' and he saw another clue. To get out, find the mammal that flies in this house. It guards the number of the right door and the key. Jack said "It's a bat! A vampire bat!" But as Jack said that very word he fell down a trap door...
When he woke up he saw two doors. One door was made of foam, the other one was makde of mini coffins. Jack said "I think it's the coffin door". Jack tiptoed in and he saw a vampire sleeping in his coffin. He was sitting on the key and the right number of the right door! Jack gently reached for the key. He said "I got it!". Jack crept back out, climbed the laddder and ran to the number-79. Just then, the demon appeared and he said "Times up, Mr. Whoever-You-Are!" The demon pulled out his pet vampires. "Get him!" Jack quickly put the key in the lock and raced out the door. Jack loacks the door as fast as he could. "What a horrible night! I'm going home!"

On Thursday week 1 room 4 watched some clips and did some water experimenting gathering salt,one center meter of water, a marble,glad wrap, a small bowl and a big bowl.We mixed the water with the salt in the big bowl. Then we put the small bowl in the center. Then put the glad wrap over the bowls and put the marble on top of the glad wrap in the middle. We left it to set over the weekend.

It's the last week of Term 2!!

On Monday, we were blessed to have Tamra come in from St John and teach us some Basic First Aid!
It was especially funny when Linkon was chosen to demonstrate how to stop a bleeding nose...and then he ACTUALLY got one!!!

To wrap up our wonderful disasters unit we made chemical reactions, using vinegar and baking soda, and make exploding volcanoes!

=Christmas should not be banned=

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas! Which one should I pick. Should or shouldn't. Come on, people. Help me here! I think I will just go for we should have Christmas.
Christmas is fun. We love it, Santa. We should have Christmas because for breakfast, we get pancakes. We have them with my Nanna and Pop. After that, we go to my other Nanna's for lunch. We have a roast and all my cousins are there.
Santa, please let us have Christmas. My class loves Christmas.
My second reasons is we go to my cousins house for tea. When we are there we get to open our presents. Sometimes we get to go on the waterslide or sprinkler. It was cold!
We have roast for tea. Yum!
Just before tea, we play a game of soccer.
Those are my reasons why we should have Christmas.

I am going to tell you three reasons why phones should be allowed at school.
Firstly, you can txt people when you are bored and tell them about how much you miss them or if you are bored at school.
Secondly, there are games and songs on your phone that you can go on.
Thirdly, you can take pictures of your favorite teachers and friends so you can remember them.
Those are my three reasons why we should be able to have phones at school. You better agree with me!

HELLO!

What an exciting week we had last week huh! Rooms 4 and 5 were the only kids in school last Thursday (10th March) because Rooms 7 and 8 were on camp, and Rooms 1, 2 and 3 were on a trip at Rabbit Island! It was really fun!

How many of you have been playing the games on the blog?

My, how these weeks are flowing by!

Cricket

Last week, 10 students from Room 4 (and 10 from Room 5) went to the Upper Moutere Community Centre to take part in a KiwiKids cricket tournament run by The Nelson Cricket Association. The kids were mixed and matched and split into three teams, with each team then having two games. They played against teams from places like Mapua, Mahana and Ngatimoti.
Sadly, none of the teams was able to muster up a win, but they had plenty of fun trying!

Last week we had the privilege of seeing Craig Smith, the author and performer of The Wonky Donkey, live at Tasman Bay Christian School. He performed a number of his songs for us, and then answered questions. It was a fantastic show, and he had everyone singing and dancing and laughing along. Here are a few photos...

Term 4

Wow, who would believe that Term 4 has arrived already! This term promises to be as busy as the others, with Lower Moutere Has Talent performance, Athletics, a few fun assessments and of course, the end of year reports are always something to look forward to.
This term does have its differences though, with the biggest one being homework. You should be getting (on that first afternoon back) a list of activities, and a set of instructions which explain what and how these activities are to be carried out. This change should hopefully allow for more flexibility, whilst giving the kids a few new skills around home. Other than that, things here at school will tick along as per normal. Please feel free to drop in, or leave us a message on here.
Ten weeks to go, the countdown has begun!!

Countdown to RWC 2011

The William Webb Ellis Trophy was recently on display at the newly renovated Trafalgar Park (in preparation for the Rugby World Cup next year) and Julius was lucky enough to get his photo taken with the impressive (and elusive!) prize. Here's hoping that a few other kiwi lads get even closer next year!!

As we approach the end of Term 3, it occurs to me that we have a very busy few weeks ahead of us. Winter Tournament, Kids 4 Kids concert, Supermarket visit and of course, all the usual school subjects. The students are really clicking into gear at the moment and are proving to be a responsible bunch of kids. They are attacking their work with enthusiasm, and are particularly loving the paper mache art we are currently doing (apologies to those who are cleaning the grubby tops- I promise you that they should be staying cleaner from now on...).

I have noticed that there have been quite a few children lately who are running out of food, but are still hungry. It may be that the lunch that was enough for your child at the start of the year, is now not quite enough to keep them going. Please check with your child that they have enough food to keep them going for the whole day. Thank you.

Mama Mia Pizzaria!!

Last week (or was it the week before?)Room 4 made pizza, down in the hall, as a reward for being the tidiest kiwis at LMS.As part of their writing, the students have written articles about the experience. Here are a few tasty portions for you to chew over... 'On Wednesday the 28th of July, Room 4 from Lower Moutere School made pizza in their school hall.' (Sam's introduction) 'Their lovely teacher Mr Armstrong, known affectionately at school as Mr A, taught them how to knead their dough and where pizza came from. Then the students went off to knead their dough and put their toppings on.' ( Genesis' middle part) 'Emilie Gibson had this to say. "My pizza had chicken and red onion. It was delicious." Look out pizza makers, Mr Armstrong and Room 4 are on your tails!' (Emilie's closing statement)

Science, Technology and new Room 2 Buddies.

In Room 4 we were lucky enough to have a group of student teachers come in and show the children a great little experiment with milk, food colouring and dishwashing detergent. The kids loved the reaction that happened when those ingredients met, and the colours were pretty cool.
We have also been doing some technology challenges this term, and the children have really impressed me with their co-operative skills, and lateral thinking. I hope to have some photos on here in the next few days of them hard at work, solving those tech problems!
Also, Rooms 2 and 4 have had a swap around of buddies this term, and have been getting to know each other these last few weeks. Here are some pics of their science experiments, and some of them hanging out in the sun, enjoying a story or two...

7 a side football tournament

On the last Thursday of Term 2, 10 intrepid footballers from Rooms 4 and 5 set off to contest the Football World Cup- Nelson style! We were entered as Nigeria ( and actually did better than they did at the real World Cup!), and we played 5 other schools, who were representing Argentina, Brazil, Ivory Coast, Greece and Portugal. Sadly, we were only able to muster up the one draw (in our last game), but we still had a fantastic day.
A big thank you to Martin Ferguson and Leila Puata for providing transport, to Callum Seymour for being our referee, and to the team- what a great effort; a truly terrific day.

The end of the term is upon us, and the children have put in a tremendous effort, and done some terrific work. There have been scientific experiments which have helped them learn about 'fair testing' (they loved the mouldy bread one!!), and they have also done some fantastic 'sunrise' art, using watercolours and black paint. Plus we got to see the Old McDonald and the Bionic Bunny show (hilarious!!)and then there was the usual reading, writing and maths. I hope to get some photos of their art on the blogsite soon, and get the pictures themselves displayed in the hall.

CROSS COUNTRY

This year's cross country day took a long time to take place, after many false starts, but when it finally took place it was totally worth the wait. There was much puffing and panting, and some wonderfully close races. Special congratulations must go to Oriwa and Carlo, for winning their respective races, and to Safia, Isabella, Tyler R, Julius and Sam, who all were placed either 2nd or 3rd in their races. An extra special mention must go to Sam, Oriwa and Saffy, who have been selected to represent the school in the Rabbit Island Inter-school cross country. GOOD LUCK YOU GUYS!! Do us proud!

Yay!!! We are finally back in Room 4!!! Photos soon, but family and friends are welcome to drop in and have a look. The "Southland Maroon" (or Chilli Red if you want the official name...) walls look fantastic, and the new heat pump is keeping us all toasty warm. Now the challenge of keeping it tidy begins...

Week 2 update

The classroom is coming along nicely, although it is looking like we may be in Room 6 for a few days longer than planned. However, it is obvious that it will be well worth the wait. The other big news is that we have been very kindly given a Crusaders jersey, via Olivia, from her cousins-All Blacks Ben and Owen Franks. And not only that, but it has been signed by (we think!!) Ben and Owen, Adam Whitelock, Brad Thorn and Daniel Carter. Pretty Awesome! So Thank You Very Much from Room 4 (especially Mr A, who is now seriously questioning his Highlander heritage...)and good luck to the Crusaders for the rest of the season.

At the end of last term, we packed up all our belongings, and bits and pieces, and sent them across the quad to Room 6, as it was our turn to get the Extreme Makeover- Classroom Edition! With all our things safely set up and stored in Room 6, the builders arrived shortly after Easter and began gutting the room- carpet, lino, walls, you name it, it was gone (or going!!).
Hopefully it will all be fixed, and looking brand new by the end of week two, but in the meantime, heres how it was looking in the break...

Colour Sports Day

The last day of the term was finished off in fine, colourful style, as the school split into 8 colour groups and set about contesting for the Lower Moutere School Sport's Cup. Maybe not all the students were aware, but there was a definite edge to this year's contest- would someone be able to take top spot off Mrs Parfitt's Blue team? Short answer...No. Congratulations Blue team, you defended your title admirably. But a big 'well done' to all the students (and parents) for making the day the success that it was.

Over the last few weeks, Room 4 (and the rest of the school) have been having football lessons with "George". The class has been learning skills and techniques, and playing games as well. All the children learned a lot, and had a great time doing it.

Well, we must love them, as we have just spent a week doing them!
This last week was a tough one for them here at school, as we had tests nearly every day, and even twice on one day! But they battled away admirably, and now we can focus our energy on getting back into our regular routines.
It hasn't been all tests though; the children have been getting football coaching once a week from "George" and many are also taking part in Try-athlon training, T-ball and the cycle train, so all in all it's been a very active start to the year!

Here We Go Again!!!

Well, can you believe that the holidays are over and school is so close that you can smell the children's lunches in the cloak bay! Room 4 is again looking like being a very busy place to be, and with a new (bar 7) bunch of lucky children ready to begin, it's all hands on deck!
There is a lot going on at school, and I look forward to keeping you up to date, and hopefully hearing back from you.

Week 8 already!!

Where has this Term gone? All of a sudden it's week 8, and the class is getting ready for end of year festivities. Mind you, we have quite a few things to get through before we switch off entirely for the summer! Cycle Safety this week, and the Community BBQ on Thursday, plus we should hopefully get some swimming time. No time to rest just yet, but getting closer by the day!

Oh, and well done to those students (and parents/helpers) who brought in fantastic, stupendous, magnificent homework projects on The All Whites. There were some incredible presentations, and obviously a lot of work went in to a high majority of the finished products. Well done, Room 4.

Also, a special mention should go to Grace, Taylah and Thomas who, along with two other LMS students, and many other kids from other schools, were presented with their very own bike! This was part of the Variety-Bikes For Kids promotion, in which over 1000 bikes were donated to kids all around New Zealand. I'm sure they will get plenty of use!!

What an amazing 3 days we spent at Bethany Park, Kaiteriteri. Sun, sand, glow worms, waterslides and long long walks, plus late nights, early mornings, yummy dinners and delicious desserts. All children (young and slightly older...) had a great time and are keen to return at the first possible chance. Watch this space for further camp related articles...

Term 3: Done and Dusted!

Well, another term has slipped quickly by, and what an eventful ten weeks it turned out to be! Since the last update we have had a couple more events. Winter Tournament (hockey, rugby, soccer and netball) was a huge success, with all teams competing well.
We ended the term with Loud shirt day-Room 4 and Room 2 teamed up to create some fantastically loud "shirts", all in aid of raising money and awareness for the deaf community.

The children have worked really well this term, and we are all looking forward to camp next term. Term 4 promises to be another busy 10 weeks for us, which we are eagerly anticipating.

The Miniball season ended this week for our two junior teams. Well done to The Magic, and The Machines, who both competed well, against some tough competition. Both teams showed terrific committment and made tremendous improvement throughout the season. Well done guys, looking forward to next year already!

There has been the Hip Hop presentation, Cupcake/Movie/Daffodil Day (Thank you, School Council), Jump Rope For Heart, and tennis coaching; plus we have seen the pick of the senior speeches, and the senior technology challange. All that plus the year 4s up have been practising for Winter Tournament, and we have been selling friday lunches as a camp fundraiser. WOW!! Somehow, in amongst all that we have managed to write some pretty awesome stories (watch this space...), make ice cream (well, some of us!), do some rather good looking art and learn heaps about fractions! Picking Superkid these last few weeks has been really hard, as the kids have really stepped up to the mark, and got a lot accomplished. Here are a few photos of the last few weeks...

Busy Week 5!

This week saw the performance of Bob Bickerton, who entertained the school with his musical talents. This week was also important for the fact that Room 4 got to put into practice their Search and Rescue skills! After spending considerable time getting prepared and organised, Room 4 were called into action, by a distraught Miss Maher. Room 2's beloved bear, Dennis, was missing, presumed lost and injured! Room 4 sprung into action and carried out a near-perfect Search and Rescue mission, and quickly located poor Dennis, brought him safely back to Room 4 and informed Room 2 that all was well again. Whew! Well done Room 4, on an excellent mission.

This past week we farewelled our three Year 5 boys, Braden, Jordan and Thomas. Good luck over in Room 5 guys! This loss is offset though, with the arrival of Kyle Wilson. Kyle joins us from Parklands School and he is quickly finding his feet here at LMS. Kyle is our second "late arrival" in Room 4, after Shirley Notton joined us in Term 2.

Well done to everyone who competed, it was fantastic to see you breathless and puffing at the finish line! You did yourselves proud, and congratulations to those of you going on to compete at the inter-school cross country.

Term three is up and running, and we have another busy couple of months in front of us. The Cross Country is set to run in week two, and training is well under way.
The children will be getting homework sheets again and these are, as always, due back in each Friday.

The children worked in pairs to create a diorama depicting household changes over 100 years. They worked really well on these, and came up with some fantastic displays. The class loved the 'hands on' aspect of this topic, and I think we can all agree that they created some special work!

DISCO- Time to goove!!

Disco night, June 12th was a great night for all the students, parents and teachers that were there. Lots of games, cool music and fantastic costumes kept everyone happy for the whole night. And when that wasn't enough, there were some yummy treats being sold. Well done to the children who dressed up (don't they look great?), and thank you to the School Council for helping organise such a successful night.

All the students (this group was year 0-4) were able to attend the Maths Roadshow. There were lots of great fun things to try out and play with.
